Alright, so maybe National Travel and Tourism Week was last week…but hey, you probably didn’t even know that was a thing until, like, a minute ago, so let’s roll with it. Literally — let’s roll, on a Superior Tours charter bus, of course! It’s never too late to celebrate an occasion. That’s why they make belated birthday cards, right? So just consider this blog post as your belated National Travel and Tourism Week, and hop on board.
A Little Bit About National Travel and Tourism Week
National Travel and Tourism Week is an effort, put together by the U.S. Travel Association since 1983, to promote the power of the travel industry. Travel and tourism professionals (such as ourselves) work together during this time to show the important contributions that travel and tourism markets have within the U.S. economy. Coincidentally, we wrote a blog at the beginning of April that detailed a charter bus service’s impact on the economy. Check that post out right here for a little more information.
So How Can You Celebrate?
Take a trip! Anywhere! It doesn’t matter where, just hop on one of our deluxe charter buses and enjoy the ride. When you get to your destination, maybe patronize a few local, small businesses to help out the small business owner economy. (Believe it or not, last week was also National Small Business Week, so it’s a perfect excuse to combine the two.) Try one of these great road trips inside or outside of Maryland, or one of our awesome tour specials. The possibilities are nearly endless, so be sure to celebrate National Tourism and Travel Week in style with us!
